The Aurelian Cycle Trilogy Book Review

Fireborne - Book 1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a fantastic YA fantasy that reads more maturely than others I've read. This is a great book to pick up if you're wanting to try NA or Adult. I loved the political aspect and how well the world was written. I loved watching the characters struggle and grow and band together in hard times.

This is mainly a plot driven story with a sub-plot of romance. I really enjoyed how well it was written, and it looks like it's going to be childhood friends to lovers. However it is too soon to tell.

Also, the biggest plus for me; dragons! I mean, who doesn't love dragons.

Flamefall - Book 2 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hello book 2! I swear this one is just as amazing as book 1. We have strong characters, who make mistakes, learn and grow from those mistakes, and aren't afraid to stand up for what they beehive in. We get a new POV in this book, Griff, who gives us another perspective from the other side and adds a lot to this story. That cliffhanger at the end though! So glad book 3 will be released soon!

Furysong - Book 3 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow! It's been a long while since I devoured a book in less than 12 hours, let alone an almost 500 page book. This was an absolute epic ending to this trilogy. Every book continued to get more in depth and more fast paced. This story was a rollercoaster of emotions; heart-break, rage, laughing, and cheering. I grew so fond of these characters and wish everyone could have had a happy ending. This was one of the best trilogies I've read in a while and definitely an author to keep your eye on.

Thank you to Penguin Teen for the e-arc of book 3 in exchange for an honest review.
