Book Merch Tag

Posted by Chelsea Poff on

Welcome back to my book blog!

I wasn't tagged to do this, however I found it online and want to play. The rules of this tag are:

  1. Mention the creator of the tag: Celinelingg
  2. Mention the blogger who tagged you. Like I said, I wasn't tagged but here is the blog I found it on. Reading, Reading, Reading
  3. You may add your own questions if you want to!
  4. Spread the love and tag some people to participate and connect! (There’s no limit in number, so have some fun and just tag!).

Question #1: Book Merch you are dying to have!

I'm normally not one for blankets, because I don't really use but one. However, at the moment, I am loving the ADSOM blanket that was in Illumicate ADSOM Special Edition Box. I don't have it (yet), but I'm eyeballing it.

Question #2: Let’s say you win a lifetime voucher with only ONE option. Book merch or Books?

Honestly, I'm going with Book Merch on this one. I'm a pretty practical person when it comes to finances so I tend to have a hard time spending money on items that don't have a practical use. Books, however, are very practical. They stimulate the mind and I can go back to them again and again.

Question #3: Have you ever tried making your own book merch?

Why, yes. That's what I do for my business. Before that, no.

Question #4: How do you usually get your book merch?

Most of the things I get are from subscription boxes. I will buy candles and bookmarks from small shops and you can read about my favorite ones on my blog here.

Question #5: Mind to share why do you love (or the contrary, not a big fan of ) bookish merch?

Some of my favorite items are candles and mugs. I love that, not only is it something that be decorative, but also useful. I'm not a huge fan of enamel pins. If I had something that I could put them on, like a jean jacket or purse, I might like them more. However, I don't so they typically sit in a box until I unhaul them.

Question #6: Let’s say you are a book merch addict. What will you do if there is no space left to store your new book merch?

Buy more bookshelves to display the items on obviously. But no, seriously, when I run out of room I will go through everything and sell everything I'm no longer in love with.

Well that was it for the Book tag. Feel free to play along!
